  • We asked for a non-smoking room. The room is clean and comfortable without peculiar smell. Although facing the street, the sound insulation is good after closing the windows. I don't think it's noisy at all. Breakfast was also very good. I was quite satisfied with the overall check-in. The only drawback is that it feels strange to stand in the bathtub and take a shower. I suggest you can divide it!

Travelogue

  • The subway entrance is filled with Lao Guang cuisine, so there is no need to make travel plans

Before coming to Guangzhou to visit, I did a week-long guide and finally settled on Guangzhou Boyi Hotel. After staying for three days, I immediately wanted to give all my friends who came to Guangzhou a heads up recommendation - it only takes 8 minutes to walk to Tianhe Park subway station, surrounded by locally hidden delicacies, and there is no need to take detours to all popular attractions. I can directly check the route in the whole province.
The transportation convenience is really impeccable. You can walk 8 minutes from the hotel to Tianhe Park subway station where Line 21 and Line 13 meet, 2 stops to the Pearl River New City, 3 stops to Pazhou Exhibition Hall, and 20 minutes to Guangzhou East Station by subway, without being stuck in the morning rush hour. I landed at Baiyun Airport and took Line 3 to Line 21 for a 40 minute direct ride. I didn't have to walk the complicated pedestrian bridge with my luggage, and walked along Yuancun West Street from the subway exit. The entire way was flat sidewalks, without the embarrassment of dragging luggage. There is a shared bicycle parking spot right outside the hotel entrance. If you want to take a leisurely stroll around the area, you can scan a car and get to Tianhe Park in just 5 minutes, which is even more comfortable than taking the subway.
The most amazing thing is the 10 minute walking circle around, which directly grips the fireworks of Lao Guang tightly. Take a few turns downstairs and you'll find a traditional sausage restaurant that has been open for over a decade. The beef sausage, which costs 6 yuan per serving, has thin skin and filling, and is topped with freshly mixed soy sauce. It's much tastier than the ones in popular online stores that cost tens of yuan. There is a pig miscellaneous Congee store that is open at 2:00 a.m. 5 minutes away. When I come back from shopping late at night, I can also drink a bowl of hot Congee with fresh ingredients until my eyebrows drop. There are three sugar shops in the surrounding area with different flavors. Yangzhi Ganlu, Jiangchong Milk, and Shuangpi Milk all start at 8 yuan, so you don't have to go to the old alley to find them. You can go downstairs and enjoy the freedom of sugar and water. Even the fresh food market that local talents go to is within 15 minutes' walk. They want to buy some fresh fruits and Dim sum, and then take them back to the hotel directly after shopping. It is more cost-effective than buying them in the scenic spot.
The routes to various popular scenic spots are all "short, smooth and fast": take the subway to the Pearl River New City in 3 stations, stroll around K11 and see the Guangzhou Tower, and it takes 20 minutes to get there; A 15 minute drive directly to Pazhou, there is no need to leave two hours in advance to visit exhibitions and markets; Ride a shared bike along Yuancun West Street for 10 minutes, and you can run to Linjiang Avenue to watch the sunset of the Pearl River. There are too many fewer people than the core viewing platform beside the the Pearl River, and the photos taken do not need P. If you want to punch Xiguan and Yongqingfang in old Guangzhou, take the subway and transfer to Line 6, and you can get there in 40 minutes, instead of taking the wrong way around the long road.
I didn't do any complicated strategies for the past three days. I woke up and went downstairs to have a sausage, took the subway to the scenic spots I wanted to go to, and had a bowl of pig Congee on the way back at night. I didn't even turn on the navigation. Before, when I came to Guangzhou, I used to be afraid of staying too far away and wandering around tourist attractions for two hours. But this time, I realized that choosing the right transportation and nearby destinations can double the happiness of the entire trip. Guangzhou Boyi Hotel is worth recommending to everyone around you.Show more

  • After staying in Tianhe, Guangzhou for two nights, this hotel hidden by the the Pearl River has understood the cost performance ratio

This time I came to Guangzhou to catch up with the project. I didn't crowd the online celebrity hotels in the core area of the the Pearl River. I chose Guangzhou Boyi Hotel. After staying for two nights, I found that it was completely a treasure destination that I underestimated - close to the core business circle, surrounded by the smoke and anger of Laos and Guangzhou, and even traveling to eat saved too much trouble.
It only takes 8 minutes to walk from Tianhe Park subway station, without having to detour through the complex pedestrian bridge. Drag your luggage along Yuancun West Street, where the roadside is filled with sugar and water shops and roast meat shops run by Lao Guang. As soon as you get off the subway, you can smell the aroma of soy sauce wafting in. When I checked in, the guy at the front desk spoke the authentic Cantonese, didn't give me any payment items, and directly handed me a handwritten list of surrounding food, marked the sausage restaurant in the alley for more than ten years, and the pig chop Congee stall that was still open at two o'clock in the morning, which was much more reliable than what I searched on the strategy.
I booked a big bed room with a small bay window. When I opened the door, my first impression was that it was clean and spacious, without the stuffiness of an old hotel. The wall has a soft and light color tone, and the lighting is designed with no main light. Even if we work overtime at night, the plan will not shake our eyes. The mattress is just right in terms of softness and hardness. As someone with a poor waist, I can sleep until two o'clock and the next day I don't feel any back pain at all. The bathroom was separated from wet and dry, and the hot water came out in three seconds. After washing, you wrapped your bathrobe and sat down at the floating window. Looking up, you could see the skyscrapers in the the Pearl River New City in the distance. Near you were the lush banyan trees in the old community. The new and old Guangzhou feeling suddenly caught your eyes.
The hotel's facilities completely exceeded expectations. The multifunctional hall on the second floor is quiet and not noisy. I had to discuss a half-hour plan with my colleagues and borrowed a spot directly from the front desk. The projector and whiteboard are both free of charge. The self-service laundry room downstairs has a drying function. If you don't have time to hand wash clothes due to rushing projects, you can get dry clothes within an hour after throwing them in. You don't even need to bring heavy clothes for a week's stay. The front desk is manned 24 hours a day. I forgot to bring my room key downstairs in the middle of the night, but the staff helped me fix it in two minutes and even gave me a free bottle of mineral water.
The most amazing thing is its location. It takes only 10 minutes to walk to Tianhe Park. When you wake up in the morning and run around the park twice, you can see Lao Guang practicing Tai Chi in the morning, and grandma on the roadside setting up a small stall selling fresh starfruit. Take a 15 minute taxi to the core business district of the Pearl River New Town, and take time to visit K11 and Guangzhou Tower on weekends, without squeezing the subway for half an hour. Two steps downstairs, there is a barbecue shop that has been open for more than ten years. For 18 yuan, you can buy a box full of forks for cooking, which is much cheaper than eating fast food in the core area of the Pearl River.
Staying for two nights without flashy internet celebrity marketing, every detail meets the real needs of travelers. Next time I come to Tianhe in Guangzhou, I will definitely make it my fixed place of residence.Show more
